Filming session 2:
In this session we shot most of the scenes, such as the short dialogue in the centre, and all of the kidnapping of Fogul.
This took place after school in and around the 6th form centre, but only the kidnapping and the very start where Fogul runs towards the centre is outside of the sixth form block.
We started off filming in the centre,we had set everything up to find that another group was also planning on filming and their piece involved music, so upon hearing this we decide that maybe we were best to start by filming the kidnapping scene, which was outside and there were to be no distractions around the sixth form block. The filming of the scene went to plan and we managed to complete it in only three takes, the three takes were only because we had problems with actually managing to properly get the bag on his head. Another reason was that the cameraman turned the camera off too early.
The next scene we filmed was the dialogue inside, the filming of this scene also went quite well.It did take slightly longer than anticipated as we had to tweak a few lines and camera shots. We also needed quite a few takes as at point lines were forgotten or not said properly and also had a couple of accent problems, but these were cleared up quickly and once we decided on our certain lines and accents, we continued without any further problems.
The final scene we filmed was fogul being led to the toilets and then being tied up,In this scene we encountered quite a few problems as there wasn't a lot of space and it was difficult to find an angle that would be effective for this particular scene. We then decided to film an angle from a CCTV camera position. We thought this would be extremely effective because we would be clearly able to see the action and because of the limited space, this was the best angle available.
Altogether the filming was a success and it was achieved well as there were various things that needed sorted and arranging so that the filming would be a success.
